Ciao Summer 2012
It’s the time of the year where home works and exams are the last thing to worry about. where sleeping is never deprived of you. where a gorgeous body is a must-have. where there is not a scarce of time. where boredom is the uninvited guest that keeps on coming. where the parents need not to fret about the allowance. Yes. You are right. It’s SUMMER.
This year, I’m one of the lucky ones who won’t spend it in school. woot! woot! Although, I had to stay in Manila to babysit my 6 year old cousin. To be honest, I hated it! A lot of plans were ruined because of this. I wasn’t able to make up for the lost time with my family and high school friends which is a very big deal. I did not get my driving license or permit, at least. I wasn’t even able to go out with my college friends!
Well here’s a rundown of my April and May 2012.
April 14
A day tour in Anvaya Cove with my Tita, Tito, Cousin and Younger Sister. This was a company outing of my tita’s officemates and she tagged us (me and my sis) along. Spent most of the time swimming either at the pool or at the ocean to beat the heat. Played beach football, table tennis, foosball. Lunch and Snacks were delish!!
April 15
After spending a day in Anvaya, we went to our hotel to rest. Today, we went to Treetop Adventure which offers extreme activities that involves rappels and zip lines. We tried the superman ride and canopy ride. This is us, rocking our safety gears. =)
April 22
Cirque Mother Africa is a show starring natives of Africa showcasing their talents and rich culture. This was at Resorts World Manila. We actually got in for free because my cousin’s cousin (haha) was working there. Yay!!
April 28-29
Subic for the 2nd time this summer now with my family. We were here with my mom’s bros and sis. Spent the saturday at ocean view, a beach resort. Where my mom experienced her first traumatic banana boat ride. Spent the night in our villa at forest hills. Sunday, we went to treetop. This time, I tried the silversurfer. From treetop we went to Ocean Adventure. Exhausting but Fun fun fun!
May5-6
This weekend getaway was planned months before summer. Then, It finally came. This time we were with my dad’s siblings. Mom and Dad picked me up in Makati then went straight to Tagaytay for lunch. Had a few pictures taken at Palace in the sky with the clan then headed to Club Balai Isabel in Batangas. Such a pretty place to wind up! and the best part was spending it with my family!
May 18
I just can’t seclude this. A quick swim with my boyfriend at Edsa Shangri la. Although it was more of a movie marathon at the room with his sister and friends. Definitely a fun day. Went to pizzeria at the fort strip for dinner with friends. :”>
With a lot of baby sitting in between, I guess that’s about it. My summer doesn’t end here yet. I have one last place to visit and explore before the academic year starts (which I’m frantically excited about haha) . Ciao!
